| OAR of Richmond needs motivated, dedicated volunteers to facilitate group classes in Richmond area jails. Facilitators are provided with all classroom materials and a complete curriculum. We currently have opportunities for teaching classes on parenting, healthy relationships, substance/alcohol abuse recovery, AA/NA, fatherhood, anger management, and Impact of Crime on Victims. Volunteers with special skills or qualifications can also share these with a customized curriculum. Commitment is 2 hours per week for 6-10 weeks, plus 2-4 hours of training. Must submit to a criminal history check to gain security clearance to jails. Must be at least 21 years old. Ad provided by Idealist.org |
